One of my experiences with fashion is when I went to Chicago with my mom, my two aunts on my moms side, my grandma on my moms side and all my girl cousins from my moms side. I picked my best and most unique outfits to bring with me so that I could walk the streets and go out to events being the person that I wanted to be.
We took a train to Chicago and went out to eat very shortly after we arrived at a rather fancy environment friendly place so for all of this I picked one of my best outfits. I put part of my hair on both sides of my head back with a clip on each side and big silver hoop earrings that would be an eye catcher. Then I wore a white sweater type shirt that was long sleeve and had a little higher of a neck and went down to just about my waste in length. Then for my bottoms I wore a cute black skirt that had some criss-crosses with a tie on the front and was a bit flow like on the bottom. The skirt was a short skirt but not to short. Under that I wore black tights that were more see though with designs on them just to add a little onto the outfit. For shoes I wore some black boots that were almost knee length in height and had a little design on them. To top it all off I wore a long black coat that had buttons going down the front and a tie around my waste. Everyone I was with was also dressed in cute outfits because we like to get dressed up for our girls trips.
We did a lot of shopping on this trip, and when I’m shopping I like to dress cute so that I feel motivated to shop and look around a lot. My cousin Laura and I looked around so many stores and tried on so many different sets of clothes. I tried on a lot of bodysuits, some skirts, overall dresses and much more. When shopping it is fun to mix and match different outfits so that I know what types of things I could wear it with if I were to purchase it.
We also went to a lot of little coffee shops as well which are very fun to dress up for and take cute pictures in. A lot of the outfits people wear are fun to take pictures in so you have the memory and also if you want to post them if you are into that type of thing.
At night we went a show at a theater and then were walking around under the city lights, so of course I wanted to dress up for this occasion as well. I wore some hippie pants I had that were striped in maroon and white with some cute black heels to finish off the bottom. I wore a cute plain white shirt with my hair in french braids half way down my head then ponytails that left my hair looking extremely long. To add a little extra detail I wore some big hoops to accent my ears.
Dressing good and fashionable makes me feel so good and ready to conquer the day.
